I am quitting in my 40s

I have been a problem drinker since 20. I have alcohol-induced health problems. Feels almost impossible to quit. Would appreciate motivation from people who were in the same boat as I am who were able to quit..My kids are still young and I want to be the best dad I can for as long as possible. Just feels like alcohol has me by the throat
