Quarter sleeve before 25. Everyone I know thinks I’ll regret it. Thoughts?

I (23F) have been wanting to get a tattoo for a while. I landed on the idea of a quarter sleeve on my left arm (pictures 4 & 5 are placement locations) with dark floral roses (images 1-3 are references to how I want them to look) because I think it’ll be timeless and will suit me no matter the stage of life I’m in.

I plan on breaking it up into three appointments, the first being just for a small rose to see how my sensitive skin handles it, then finishing about half the following month or so. I plan on finishing it in October.

The thing is, a lot of people around me are telling me that I’ll regret it. However, I’ve been wanting this tattoo since July of 2024, and have all the money I’d need saved up, but I don’t have an appointment yet.

Am I in over my head? I have an artist in mind and I love her work. I mainly want to see if I’m over thinking it because of other people’s opinions, or if I should wait. Would love to hear everyone’s experience and/or thoughts about the design choices as well.
