why don’t guys ask me out if im attractive?

my whole life I’ve been getting compliments from strangers as I go anywhere, get constant stares, people at school etc are constantly talking abt my looks, yet a guy has never asked me out once? as a matter of fact they don’t even talk to me and some of them seem to even “hate me” for no apparent reason. ?
