My AP Sem teacher tweaking if this is true

According to one of my friends because the class ends in may she changes it to an ela class for the rest of the year. Also apparently she gives us a 12,000 essay/writing assignment and I don’t wanna be doing that shit. Please let my friend be messing with me 🙏
