Terrifier Hype

When you first saw terrifier, did it live up to the hype for you? I love gore-y horror movies and I kept reading about how crazy the second terrifier was so I gave it a chance. I absolutely loved it and think it lived up to the hype. Then when they announced the third one, the rumors were saying how it was so much more violent than the second. And I must say, it lived up to the hype again. I think the movies are the perfect balance of being disturbing without being straight torture porn, funny but not so funny it ruins the horror, good pacing, a fantastic villain, and a protagonist with actual character development with Sienna. I think people who aren't into the genre and haven't given the movies a chance think they're garbage torture porn flicks with no substance, but they are genuinely good quality movies that just happen to have an emphasis on extreme violence.
