Grizzly Mountain Question

So, on day 41 I found the ranger station and called for help. I've been sitting there throwing wood on the fire for 10 days now and it just says "I wonder if help is coming". Am I supposed to be doing something else? It doesn't make sense to me to call for help then leave, but it's getting pretty dull tbh.
