Bought my first NEW thinkpad -T14 Gen 3 Ryzen 5

Hey everyone!

I wanted to start off by saying I’ve owned multiple thinkpads over the years. My first used thinkpad was a t61, followed by a t420, then a t470 (I use for vehicle diagnostic at work) and t480.. internal battery just failed which I’m going to fix.. but I wanted something shiny and new with a small bit of modularity.

I sold my 2019 MacBook Pro this summer and was planning on replacing it with a new x1 carbon.. however on the Canadian Black Friday weekend I found this t14 gen 3 ryzen 5 touch on sale .. and I am in love with it! It’s a storm grey model which .. I’ve always loved the black thinkpad look, but it looks incredible in person.. the build quality is amazing.. I know it’s not considered a “true thinkpad” believe me. However it’s very impressive for what it is. Battery life is also incredible!

Who else has a t14? What are your thoughts?
