No excuse note from UCF doctor??

I went to the doctor today at the Health Services and I was told I have a virus. I have 2 exams this week I am trying to get excused for because I have been throwing up and having a fever.

One of them excused me while the other asked for proof.

I asked the doctor for a note and she said she can only prove I was there by me sending a verification form through health services to my professors because of HIPAA. My professor asked for proof written by someone to “prove my story”.

I explained to him that because of HIPAA that I cannot have someone write down what I have (or whatever the doctor said). I sent him pictures of my prescription and medication that were for nausea and congestion because the doctors don’t know what virus I have.

No response. The exam is due Thursday and I don’t want the miscommunication to result in me getting a 0 on the exam.
