We need a patch for harshness.

Right now I have a song I really love but just can’t seem to nail the EQ in the mix because of the inherent harshness of the file. Can we get a feature that can re-render/remaster a whole file and patch its harsh and other problematic dynamics in the mix? I know you can remix but that doesn’t quite work if you’re trying to move away from harshness while keeping the vocalist and melody the exact same.

Maybe there are solutions i am missing but right now this quality problem is forcing me to take painful amounts of time to work out in a DAW. Like, months of trying to solve the mix. And no, I’m not asking for Ai-mastering, which already exists. Ai mastering doesn’t solve the issue I’m talking about. To solve it requires re-generation from the ground up. I want that, but with the option to keep everything the same (e.g vocalist, melody, instruments), except mix dynamics (e.g., harsh frequencies, warm-ness, that kind of stuff). Maybe a specific instrument is muddy or whatever, we should be able to tell ai.. hey the guitars are muddy… and the vocalist needs de-essing, then re-render it to make the file clear.

The more songs I make the more important quality has become for me.
