Thoughts on Kerr watching the doc?

Seeing Steve in his element made me appreciate him a little more. Great moments throughout the doc:

  • Managing a superstar like Ant by laying on the compliments on his growth to stardom since FIBA but telling him he better rebound.

  • KD saying that no other coach besides Kerr got to know him in a deeper personal level, and he's played with a lot of coaches

  • His intense desire to win. he's maniacally yelling at himself to fucking go right before the gold medal game

  • He's a fan like the rest of us and was in awe and joy watching Steph, KD and bron do their thing. You rarely see many coaches act that way

  • Had a great game plan for the gold game. Told them to prepare for intense physicality which is exactly what the French coach said to focus on.

He does get a lot of detractors here on this sub, but watching the doc definitely made me appreciate having a coach like that for the past decade
