I’m vending at a Halloween show this weekend, so I used some scrap maple to make paddles to sell there. These are my first paddles with wood inlays, I used padauk for the hourglass shape. I wanted them to look like a black widow.

Back in the shop after a 2 year break, I’m making a paddle for a customer that wanted it to look like a ruler. I’ll add lines after the first coat of finish so they don’t bleed. It’s 2 1/2” wide x 22” long x 3/4” thick made of oak.
