I've seen a few bedridden emaciated Buddhist monks in Southeast Asia. Wondering what the story is behind these monks? They seem to live off an extreme caloric deficit, and it also appears as if an ascetic lifestyle is honored. Pardon the joke in the inset. Just came from the screenshot I took.
