A place to get genus/species identification from pictures of fruiting bodies! It helps to include good quality pictures of the mushroom in its native environment, the location you found them, photos of both the top and underside. It is also useful to know what the mushroom was growing on - wood, dung or on the ground? Nearby trees are also helpful to know. The more information you provide the more confident our IDs will be!
Do daldinia concentrica open up when they spore? I've only ever seen solid ones before but found these cup like structures mixed in with them yesterday. Edinburgh, UK.
