The most activist Asian-American community on the web. We serve the Asian diaspora living anywhere in the West. We are Pan-Asian (East, Southeast, South, and Central) and against all forms of anti-Asian racism. We help Asians make sense out of their own life experiences, find a supportive like-minded community, and live the best possible life. We emphasize our Asian identity, not to be used as pawns by any political ideology.
Why are white women so suspicious of me?!
A peer-to-peer support community for BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) folks who have experienced complex trauma (C-PTSD). Mixed-race folks welcome! We aim to provide a safe and supportive space for BIPoC to speak directly to lived experiences. Some topics we discuss: racism, colorism, immigration, parental abuse, cultural identity. Racism, as well as any invalidation or gaslighting thereof, will not be tolerated.
Does anyone actually have good stories about your Asian parents?
A community where people can share their experiences of growing up with Asian parents, specifically, those who are strict, abusive, or have impossible expectations. This is a place for people to vent, seek support, or offer advice to others who are going through similar situations. Common topics on this subreddit include: academic pressure, emotional abuse, physical abuse, parental control, lack of privacy, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, arranged marriages, and identity issues.
