Everyone, please listen to this. Adi Shankar already confirmed this on Facebook that the new DMC anime is simply a new universe... his DMC universe... ASDMC. Which means that ASDMC is simply not canon and will not affect the mainline DMC universe at all.

Adi Shankar confirmed 6 days ago that each season of his DMC Universe will have different feel, different theme song and completely different title design.
